Counselling in Guildford
I am based in Guildford and offer face-to-face counselling and online counselling depending on the needs of each client.
Counselling offers a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space to talk freely about anything. Being heard and understood is an invaluable part of the process; acceptance often precedes change.
Counselling gives you time to process your thoughts and feelings and time to consider situations you find yourself in. Whether addressing an historic event, an ongoing struggle, a particular relationship or a general feeling of wanting things to change, counselling can help. Although I specialise in helping people who have experienced trauma and abuse or ongoing relationship difficulties, I also support clients for many other reasons.
Counselling can cover any life-area, often weaving backwards and forwards between topics: a bit like untangling a giant knotted ball of string. Having support and someone empathetic alongside you, on that courageous and sometimes overwhelming journey, is beneficial.
